Becoming Tatiyana

Unlearning, healing and showing up anyways. Becoming me one post at a time.

I’ve thought about doing something like this for a very long time. Funny enough, I got the idea from Jenna Hamilton watching Awkward on MTV. I’ve looked for ways to put myself out there but it all felt fake, almost forced. I want to be unapologetically myself and I thought, what better way to do that than by taking it old school. Before the vlogs, there were blogs. Welcome to mine

The bravest thing we can do is be ourselves. Even in a world ever flashing with the lights of deceit and manipulation, choosing to be yourself is still a rather complex one
I believe that the intermission of social media into everyone’s day to day lives and such, has made a huge difference in the way we ALL perceive ourselves and things of that nature

To give you an example, I became immensely fascinated with archery back in 2022

To set the scene as profoundly as I can (and with regard to a potential word limit on this website) I was always curious about what it entailed

So one day I bought a cheap recurve off of Amazon and began to work through the basics of proper and or repeatable shooting form (the basics if you will)

From the moment that I began to grasp the conceptual understanding of self betterment, I knew I wanted a compound

Embracing this newfound desire, led to many dark nights wondering if I was good enough

So much lost time trying to be someone else

I firmly believe that the beauty of any one person lies in there fingerprint

Finding the harmonic balance between being yourself and not being a subject to your own personal opinions and viewpoint of the world

I’ve thought about doing something similar to what you described and I believe that’s why I’m here on this platform

It’s almost as if I’m scared to be myself

I believe that anyone that steps out of there own comfort zone and does something like this is brave

In some wierd way as The Pretender by Foo Fighters beautifully enacts its predestined way of escape from the reaches of my phone speakers

I ask one question (for the purposes of self rationality and or acceptance of certain aspects of human existence and or (in esque) predestined nature

    Why pretend?

I hope that you stick with posting to your blog and I hope that it goes well

    Godspeed

Reading this sounds like I have written it myself. I very much relate to challenges with wanting to be out there but feeling fake and feeling embarrassed. Best wishes.

In my experience, you would grow to know your own voice. The best thing you can do is to start. You may sound like others along the way – and that’s okay – but you will find your own voice.
